Hi! My name is Maria, and I am the Spanish teacher at Maria Spanish School. We hold group classes for 3-5-year-olds every Saturday morning. It is never too late to practice, learn, and get to know our language and culture!
Maria Valenzuela is a journalist from Chile. She has a Master in Social Communication and a Certificate IV in Education Support in Melbourne.
Since her arrival in Melbourne in 2011, she has been involved in Early Childhood Education by delivering workshops for children at local childcare centers and as a Spanish teacher for children at the VSL (Victorian School of Languages) and for adults at Community Centres, as well as being actively involved in the Spanish-speaking community in Melbourne.
We have courses of different durations. The most popular are for children with a duration of 8 weeks (one term).
Our speciality is classes for children and teenagers. But we have private sessions for adults.
Yes! We offer these sessions via Zoom. It’s very important to be connected 5 minutes beforehand.
Upon successful completion of the courses, the children will have their certificate.
